  1. Just still pretending like it wasn’t Tocchet that was the issue with Pettersson? Jesus Christ. Why the fuck is the coach always shielded from criticism? Miller had a shitty 40 games too before he was traded. Then went right back to getting points with NY. Kuzmenko and Höglander were other victims of being stifled by Tocchet and his stupid way of playing. It works great for guys like Sherwood and Joshua etc. This whole segment is a joke because they’re still pussy-footing around the actual issue. Just refusing to go there. Tocchet made the skilled and talented guys fucking miserable. Why is he free of criticism when it’s his fault? Look at other teams he coached. He is low-event, low offense, grinder hockey. It’s not Petey’s fault this was an issue with Tampa and Arizona too. Jesus fucking Christ. You guys are clowns.

  2. A 70 to 75-point player – really? His salary is more in line with 90 to 105-point player. I think anything less is disappointing, and the trade rumours and criticism would persist.

  3. I have often wondered players who started playing at 6yrs and now twenty years later in the NHL keep from getting bored.
Give me 11 million for a few yrs, I can find another job, even if it's just watching my toenails grow. This is a comment, not a question.

  4. He had a bad offseason last year because poor management on dealing with injuries, push player to play through pain for half season which messed up his knee and couldn’t train? You have a coach that said it was little tendinitis it was nothing. He was leading league before that and his speed and shot went down 50%. Give me a break saying it’s his fault he couldn’t train properly last year. Tendinitis requires a lot of rest and load management and still bothered till training camp last year. He had been not in shape because of it. I hate our stupid management ffs and the media who won’t call them out for there fuck ups.
