Nothing nothing nothing nothing except I have family there
We’ve made the playoffs 13 going on 14 straight years longest active streak
It's pretty well known that Barrasso was the biggest jerk to ever play in Pittsburgh
LETS GO PENS
I like that my Wings beat them for the cup in 08… not going to talk about what happened the following year lol!
5 things to like about the Penguins? Cant even think of one…
Tom Barrasso coached the Sheffield Steelers last season… a strange, stern man to say the least!
I like the old colors of the Penguins with the Black and Gold not the Black and Yellow they have now. I also loved the old logo of the Penguin head back in the Lemieux/Jagr days
Great video Neil
Finally my Penguins. The went bankrupt twice 1975 and 1999. They almost relocated in 1975 after that. They almost relocated in the early 80s, 1999, and 2006 but thanks to our savior and the best player ever Mario Lemieux we kept our franchise. I’ve been a fan my whole life.
1. Pittsburgh is a gorgeous city
2. Crosby. Not just the player he is but the person that he is
3. Rags to riches.
4. They are a deep organization
5. Mario, Jagr, so many great players have gone through there
The gold hue lights are sick!
Happy New Year Neil, Brent and Mrs. Taylor and the rest of team posr2post. I agree with you, Pittsburgh have been the most consistent team of the decade. I am not a huge fan of Penguins (sorry Penguins fans) but, they've got some legendary players such as Jaromir Jagr, Sidney Crosby (I've been a fan of his since his Olympic Gold winning Goal vs USA at Vancouver 2010) and ofcourse Le Magnifique – Mario Lemieux, one of the GOATs! Once again, great video, Neil. which one is next?
1 there my favourite team
2 did the kid
3 fleury when he was there
4 the colours
5 the franchise
Audio low or just me?
Alan Shields
Hamilton
South Lanarkshire.
Me I just love all things
Pittsburgh
All the Pittsburgh Sports teams
I want to see do well no matter what the sport is.
Y’all should do an arena video for the NBA🏀🏀
1: The Goal horn
2: Logo
3: Crosby
4: History
5: The best goalie in the league and my hero, the Flower
LETS GO PENS 🐧
I mainly remember Tom for letting in blue line goals.
Coming from a Stars fan, I envy the fact that the Penguins were featured in the action film "Sudden Death" with Jean-Claude Van Damme. Great action/sports thriller!
Well, that title is certainly refreshing. Hating the Pens, which I must mock, has been NHL convention 101 for a minute, though i was unaware as it grew. I live in the U.S, and it's really on the level of liking the Dallas Cowboys, NY Yankees, or Manchester United, you can't name a single player on any of those teams, and you know one NBA guy in LeBron. Bandwagon, armchair B.S. I'm sayin people who know nothing about Hockey, yet know that they must hate the Pens. After Crosby, IF they know his name, the only NHL player they've heard of is Gretz. I've been a Pens fan since '88.
Great callout for your #1
my $2… Lemieuz, $3 Crosby #4:Civic arena….aka Igloo if still standing, #5, 1978, attended my fort hockey game. Fell in love with the game, all thanks for the existence of the blue, white penguins.
Five things to despise about the Pittsburgh Penguins:
5. Steel City — Yes, the city has had a remarkable revitalization since the 1960's and 1970's dubious distinction as "Smogville, USA."
4. Sharing the same city as the Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB).
3. 1992 Prince of Wales Conference Finals: Pittsburgh Penguins d. Boston Bruins, 4 Games – 0 Games. Pittsburgh would then win the Stanley Cup over the Chicago Black Hawks that season, 4 – 0.
2. 1991 Prince of Wales Conference Finals: Pittsburgh Penguins d. Boston Bruins, 4 Games – 2 Games. Pittsburgh would then win the Stanley Cup over the Minnesota North Stars that season, 4 – 2.
1. Ulf Samuelson — What sound does a dirty bird make when getting hit on the ice rink? "ULF!!!"
One, and possibly only, thing to like about the Pittsburgh Penguins:
1. Sid the Kid!
