Revisiter les Oilers d’Edmonton 1990

C’était leur dernière tasse, mais aussi leur plus grincheuse. Ils ont été mis au défi par les Jets au premier tour, mais sont revenus, puis ont fait l’histoire trois tours plus tard. 1. ayy THG im in victoria this weekend and its friggin beautiful here, definitely worth checkin out if you never been

  2. What's up Hockey Guy….luv your videoes. Very informative & respect your passion for the best sport out there. At the beginning of the video, you say 1980 Oilers instead of 1990 Oilers. At the end of the day…we all make mistakes.

  3. Coming up next:
    1991 & 92 – PIT
1993 – MTL (Last Canadian team to win the Cup)
    1994 – NYR
    1995 – NJ
1996 – COL (Damn you Florida lol)
    1997 & 98 – DET
    1999 – DAL
    2000 – NJ

  4. The 1980s Oilers were Hockey itself for me. Interesting to hear your take on the 90s Oilers. I know from your other videos you weren't fond of Fuhr or Anderson.

  5. Come on NFL is the worst for substance abuse issues. They suspend people for entire seasons for smoking pot…

  6. If only the Jets hadn't blown that 3-1 lead in the 1st round. Could have been their year finally after all those disappointing losses to the Oilers and Flames in previous playoffs. They were a really good team, but always took on the juggernauts in the 1st or 2nd round. 😛

  7. Klima did all the work on the game 1 overtime goal? Lol Kurri carried it over the blue line, made a few moves and dropped it to Klima who had the puck on his stick for a millisecond. PS you can edit the first bit of your videos so we don't have to hear you talk about cell phones.

  8. There is a great video of Tikkanen being miced up against Jokerit and Teemu Selänne in Finnish Liiga. The man just doesn't stop talking. I would think it must've been even worse in the NHL where he mixed English and Finnish.

  9. I actually played for Petr Klima when I was about 13! He actually was a great coach. His practices made every player better!

  10. Steve Yzerman will say to this day (if you ask him) that Klima had more talent than anyone he ever played with, but also zero self-discipline. He was an alcoholic who drank his way out of the league, and the Red Wings wouldn't touch another Czech Player for several years after they wasted all of that time and all of those resources to smuggle him stateside and get a bust out of it. Perhaps worst of all, he contributed to the implosion of the Jacques Demers era of Detroit, via the "Goose Loonies" incident, where Klima, Probert, and a number of other players broke curfew to go out drinking the night before a playoff game against the Gretzky era Oilers. The results were not pretty.
