Buffalo is in a great position right now they just need goalie…not just a prospect. If UPL doesn't improve then it's all goig downhill but they have the team. Having Norris and McLeod as your 1 and 2 is pretty, pretty good if you factor in their faceoff ability. Put Thompson on the wing and get maybe a couple more players to fill in that lineup and all of the sudden they look real good

Norris played 3 games in Buffalo, before getting shut down to injury. I still don't understand how you can assume Norris's feelings based on that. The Sabres like Norris, and don't care what helps the Canucks or not. Yet again we need to remind you that Buffalo is not looking for picks and prospects, so unless the trade helps the Sabres now, they have no reason to do it, therefore Vancouver has nothing to offer the Sabres

I can think of a benefit to Hutson signing an extension at 8.5 before this year starts – he might regress or get injured this year. I would think 2 or 3 years at 8.5 would give some good security for now.
