1. On what planet does a team trade a Panarin and keep a Laffy for years?
The question then becomes where do the Rangers get any player that equals his regular season points output?
Finally, does the Coach establish accountabilty from Day # 1?

  2. I've seen so much clickbait on this. Obviously being in NY everything is magnified. but imho things would have to go extremely south for nyr to trade him in season. Pagnotta isnt high on my "insider" list.

  3. Here is the catch 22… the trade market/ return for panarin will depend on who is available. and the less guys available means … they resigned…and less options for free agency. sooo… imho inevitably they reach a ~3 year extension.

  4. That’s the way , start trash talking about trading the absolute best player on the Rangers by far. The guy has done his job consistently since coming to the team and he is one of the best players in the league. I expect that Moron Drury to keep this crap up and drag the team morale down even more. Drury is a cancer to this team and this would absolutely be the Biggest mistake he’s ever made should he not extend Panarin contract

  5. I really think (hope?) that Gav and Bread made some kind of a deal for Gav to sign at a discount and then Bread stays. Which, of course Drury would have to have approved. I can’t see why Gav would have come to NY at such a discount otherwise. Paneran reeled Gavrikov in for a reason. And I think that there may be a handshake deal in place to have accomplished that……..but sometimes I do try not to think…..lol🏒🥅….LGR

  6. Bread is not going nowhere the only reason Gavvy came to the ranges for the deal that he did is because his best friend bread told him to come to play with him and fox there is definitely a back room deal where bread will take a team-friendly contract

  7. I can't see Panarin traded even at the trade deadline. He has a no trade so he would just wait till he's a free agent & then negotiate with the Rangers. I certainly wouldn't give him 10 million! If he'd play for 7-8 I'd consider resigning him unless one of those premier free agents is available(never know). The problem with Panarin is he's a terrific President's Trophy player & a subpar Stanley Cup player. People complain about Mika etc. but here's a guy who seemingly disappears in the playoffs.

  8. If they trade him, they need to make up his 100 pts during the regular season, how are you going to do that? I know he fades in the playoffs, but he has been their best regular season every year hes been in NY. You need to get to the playoffs and you wont if you trade him, unless its equal scoring you are getting back in return.

  9. Doesn’t matter , all speculation right now…if he has a good season but team flounders he’s traded. Too many big free agents next season over a 35 year old who wants 11-12 mil per🙄🙄
