My opinion is they are all gonna be great and the pens will be fun to watch win or lose I wouldn't stop being excited for them and I can't wait to see Sid and Geno, there the best in my book and I hope they stay as long as possible till retirement and let me enjoy as many years as possible watching these two players be great and leading the penguins and this league in there greatness… God bless Sud and Geno and the pens…. As far as I’m concerned, this team has absolutely nothing to lose. There is absolutely no pressure on them to do anything this year, it’s not like they haven’t won Stanley Cup during this era so that pressure is off them.
I look at like this if they surprise everybody and make the playoffs hey that’s great if they bought them out, they have a chance of getting a generational talent and Gavin McKenna.
I’m more excited to see what Dan Muse brings to the table as a coach and what Kyle Dubas continues to do to reshape this roster, I like what he’s done over the last 18 months and he is absolutely doing this the right way.

My guess is Islanders fans hate Dubas because he's the prodigy of Lamoriello that supplanted him within the Leafs' organization, leading to the Islanders hiring Lou. So basically they see Dubas as the catalyst for the Lamoriello era of managerial malpractice.

I know the expectations aren’t that high with this team, but honestly I think they will squeeze into the playoffs if they get league average goaltending. This team on paper isn’t that bad, I think with a healthy Novak in that bottom 6, Silovs as a decent backup goalie and a new coach with a different system could do wonders for this team. I just don’t see this team being that horrible.

You can put Connor Hellebuyck in goal for the Penguins and he’d still give up 4 or 5 goals a game with how horrible defensively this team is. It’s not all Jarry.
I can’t stand Cam Janssen!! I was listening to him on the Cam and Strick Podcast he said Sid needs to break away from Pittsburgh and win elsewhere before he retires.. He said Pittsburgh is history.. Cam sucks anyways!!
