If no injuries, good enough to squeak into the playoffs, but not good enough to go deep.

Almost made the playoffs. It is hard not having Miller and Tocchit however NEXT MAN UP! ABBOTSFORD Support and the Experience they had Winning the American League will pay off!

Canucks do have the advantage having one of the better goalie duos. Especially with the condensed schedule and relying on a 50/30 split
The Canucks almost made the playoffs with a host of issues.
If one of the following happens, we make the playoffs. If we accumulate 1+ things happening, we get further in the playoffs.
1) EP improves and gets at least a point per game
2) Demko plays back to his normal game and doesn’t have any season ending injury
3) Chytil doesn’t get a season ending concussion
4) EK has no setbacks to his game
5) The D plays as well as expected
6) BB gets back to his point totals
7) The Canucks add a legitimate top 2 C before the trade deadline.
I find the lack of toughness through the lineup hurts teams. Teams like the Oilers , Canucks, Buffalo, Toronto. The Oilers tried to be a wolf pack but they aren't. Florida is a wolfpack. They play as one. Tampa is similar, even Carolina. And I think Vegas will be in that mix. And if everything works to perfection the Canucks the very top end could get around a 103 points Wheels fall off out of the gate they could be in the bottom six. Far to many ifs. Good news a lot of the bottom teams in the Pacific are very close to Vancouver on paper. So we do have a decent shot at playoff hockey if everyone stays healthy. And the only reason we made the playoffs was because of Miller Zadorov and Cole. Teams played more honest. Big Z could handle himself with anyone in the league.. Teams see you are weak they target your good players and run them every chance they can. And no toughness no one backs your star players. Thus resulting in injuries. And Kane is the only tough guy on the team. I hope for the best but am not holding my breath. Forbert and DesJarnais were pretty awful early on last season. Cost us the season.
