Being a Wild fan I'm not exited about locking up Karill for 16 million long term with his injury history.
Quinn isn't going anywhere. NJ can't even seem to get Luke signed, let alone Quinn. Quinn has stated that he loves playing in a Canadian market and takes the captaincy very seriously.
When you have a team that is in the finals you try to get 98 percent to stay and then you find a goalie who can get you Atleast further
Detroit needs to stay away from Pittsburgh, they have added too many vets and they can’t keep overrating players and not notice that they have been playing with Crosby and Detroit doesn’t have a center yet of Crosby’s caliber. Larkin has only hit most 71 points and he was behind Raymond in the last two seasons and the first season in goals and last season by 10 points, Larkin was at 70 points and Raymond at 70 Debrincat 39goals 70 points. We have to see if one prospect can get to 100 points but Detroit needs to tank and get better 1st round picks to be a team to compete and continue to do so. They want to go into the season and if they make the playoffs they still have to get the prospects a couple of 3 years to get better. They are not ready they were close but it doesn’t count. Just try and play the game and I think Gibson does not have the Defensive depth in Detroit maybe less than Anaheim. If SY would try a couple prospects in Wallinder and Buium they might be better than most of the Defensive players besides, Edvinson,Seider. Chiarot and the rest need to be traded or waived they are not top 4 dmen and play way over their heads and game.
I could actually see the Blues trading Binnington to the Oilers because Hofer has shown he could be a solid #1 goalie–my only concern is that the Blues minor laeguers aren't quite NHL ready,so, It's not likely to happen this season. If the Blues get off to a really bad start, it would become more likely.
How would they lose Leon if he got pouty over McDavid leaving? He signed his name on the contract it's done.
I've been saying since Edmonton lost again in the finals that McDavid is not signing until after the season, and he'll leave Edmonton if he doesn't win the Cup this year.
Oilers should look into acquiring Linus Ullmark from the Senators. He's proven. He's battle tested. Cheers from Ottawa🍁

Mcdavid action show he might not sign until next summer and Leon sign cause they went to finals year before and thought the furture bright but also just because you have second best player with don’t mean he should stay like oilers don’t have a team not good enough still
Like it almost there rumours years old that if cap did not win 2018 what would happens to ovi would they try him cause they can’t win with him or wtv like mcdavid is not signing before October then you know he’s leaveing cause he don’t believe in this team would there noting wrong like the dude need to win something like it’s either it’s gonna take longer to win like ovi or he gonna be like Lindros that he never win one
