Yoda like the gm of the team can't teach you as well as the player coach like kane because yoda is not tough enough to play. Luke in empire strike back coached by yoda lost to vader his father his veteran coach. Because yoda can show him tricks but yoda can't shoot fast enough or fast enough unlike vader. But the old dude yoda did heal luke gave him a prosthetic arm after getting crippled and can't move like the old dude.
yoda keeps you practicing show you tricks, but it is vader who can really show and coach you to play. a vader a patrick kane for bedard. and you see how special kane is to the team.
Just these highlights alone showcase how unlucky the Wings were last year. It felt like just about every game the goalie they were against had a career night and played absolutely out of their minds.

i greatly appreciate these videos but some of your editorial choices are quite strange. you are leaving out almost all of the kinds of non-scoring highlights that people tend to think of as 'highlights'. the stuff that pads out highlight videos for a player and impresses viewers. you did include the hot passes from the Isles game in November or whenever it was. but you left out the Dec 23 crossover body weight deke in Lalonde's last game, on the rush to the net – they even replayed this in closeup. you left out the MSG replay (available via Twitter) of Kane's head fake of Trocheck vs the Rangers early in the year on the power play, where Compher missed the easy chance. you left out the close up replay (going into commercial) of the first of Kane's 2 rushes to the net vs Chicago in January, where he showed off and did stickhandling tricks in front of Kaiser before flying by him to the net. you also left out several more from the Feb game vs Tampa where Kane went crazy, apparently tired of being buried on 3rd line and wanting to prove the coach a fool. he had a play where he stole the puck from Point in the Tampa zone, then went back the other way and did a crazy body weight/toe drag thru 2 defenders, with a guy hanging on him, before hitting Larkin w a pass in front of the net. he also had a play vs Kucherov in that game where Kuch was hanging all over him trying to harry him, Kane beat him and beat him and drew a penalty finally as Kuch desperately hit him in the hands. they replayed the last half of this sequence in close up.
last year you left out the closeup replay of the 2 on 1 at Nashville w Larkin, where Kane made a nice stick play at the start of it. and left out Kane's beautiful zone entry at Buffalo where he spun Greenway and Benson out of their shoes.
your work is great but the nature of it will have people think it's comprehensive. if i drop a Pat Kane compilation for the Wings and it contains a bunch of broadcast clips not in either of your videos – and these would be some of the most impressive clips in the compilation – what would a Wings fan think, watching that? part of the fallacy about Kane being 'washed' or 'slow' or no longer being anything like 'prime' Patty Kane is that these clips of him doing Kane things so often remain buried in the original broadcasts. i do appreciate you including anyway at least the one clip from that Tampa game of Kane doing a classic Kane move on the spin around the defender leading to the chance. but he did that stuff all that game.
