Projetant la gamme 17-18 Carolina Hurricanes

Avec environ autant de trous de profondeur que les Sabres, les cannes ont beaucoup de travail à faire en été. 1. Thanks for not forgetting us. The only reason I am into hockey is because I got into it when they won the Stanley Cup in '06 when I was 10.
Ok so the Canes CAN be a fantastic team. Their main problem is their goaltending and that they can't keep leads. I think they have way too many young players and need a few more veterans. Another problem is once they DO have the lead, they already think they've won, which is why they lose so many leads. Lastly, their shootouts. Dear Neptune, their shootouts. Main problem there again is goaltending. With all this, the canes are way better than people give them credit for. Most of their losses this season should have been wins, but that's just how it happened. It sucks being a Canes fan sometimes, but I just hope they can make it next season.

  2. As a blackhawks fan, I can assure you that many times this year, Darling looked way better than Crawford. Sad to see him go, but also glad he's going to get a chance to be a number 1 goilie.

  3. Good luck with your wisdom teeth. That's the jersey that Carolina needs to make their main jersey.

  4. Trade our first and two of Fleury/Mckeown/Bean for Duchene, resign Teravainen, Mcginn, and Di Giuseppe, sign Oshie. and extend Hanifin, Slavin, and Pesce, those three and Faulk could be the best top 4 in Hockey in a few years if they don't do a canes move and get rid of them.

  5. This team needs just a couple pieces and they'll surprise a lot of people, a goalie alone would help a lot, I'm excited to watch them next year, especially Aho and to see if Slavin can have another ridiculously good year

  6. I think if toews is any bit available, carolina has to jump on him. He could be like the next ron francis for them.

  7. like and subscribe if you're browsing your way through <3
CAUSE THIS IS THE BEST PART OF THE INTERNET!!!

  8. Hurricanes have there ups and downs but darling might be superb but I personally love their roster as much as my habs I think they will be much better next season

  9. Carolina's prospects had a good year. Fleury is still the top defensive prospect, with McKeown also on the radar. Jake Bean was their first round draft pick last year and made it to the AHL by the end of the season. He's very highly regarded. I think at least one of the defenseman prospects will be traded. Slavin, Pesce, Faulk, Hanifin, Fleury, and Dahlbeck is a pretty good Top 6, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got a cheap veteran FA to fill in that 6 spot. Even their forward prospects are looking up. Look for Lucas Wallmark to be the rostered 4th line center at the start of the year. He had a fantastic season in the AHL and did well during 15 or so games with the Canes. Valentin Zykov and Aleksi Saarela also have been impressive. Saarela really went on a tear in Charlotte immediately after coming over from Finland (he's the prospect the Canes got in the Eric Staal trade along with the 2 draft picks). Meanwhile further down the line we've got Warren Foegele, Julian Gauthier, Nicolas Roy, Spencer Smallman, and Callum Booth all performing well in the CHL- all a ways from the NHL but all of them also tradable assets should Ron Francis wish to better the team right now.

  10. This is coming from a canes fan (so it's biased) but slavin to me is the most underrated player in the league. We need another top scorer.

  11. Oh finally, I'm a Habs fan but my second and third fav teams are the Oilers and Canes and these two have sucked since '06 basically and I've almost lost hope in both teams but they are finally showing improvement…

  12. Love the Scott Darling trade. That should be a big help. Now Francis needs to see if he can swing a trade for a first line center.

  13. Hey I'm a canes fan but when the resign faze is over I will comment about our future. Carolina has one of the brightest futures in this league. My projected Carolina defense:
Slavin:FaulkHanifin:PesceFlurey:Tennyson (How I project the defensive lines)Forwards:Skinner-X-Lindholm (majorly under rated defensively and offensively and was on pace for 68 points after Christmas)TT-Rask-AhoNordstrom-Staal-PDGMcGinn-X-X
DarlingWardI will tell you who we might sign this off season when it starts and more about our prospects after the draft. And as I like to say: we rise, we fall, and we rise again. (2006-2009)
Just remind me and I will comment cause I forget easily.

  14. Carolina should be fine in Raleigh even in a small market. All they need to do is step up to the plate and back to playoff contention with stars like Lack, Skinner, Aho and more. And the team being "out of gas" is a reference to a pit stop in a NASCAR race. North Carolina is one of the best sports markets in America and had great icons like Michael Jordan, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Ron Francis LOL

  15. To be fair to Ward, he had some elite seasons in 2009, 2011, and 2012. I personally think we are 1 top 6 forward away from a playoff run.
