  1. Nasty is just gonna do what he always does, which is water everything down. He’s everyone bud, he’s everyone’s friend. I’ve heard the Flyers dressing room is tight many times but there have been rifts. Richards/Pronger. Lindros/Brind’Amour. Voracek was vocal against Alain Vigneault. I heard a rumor (only a rumor) Giroux and Hayes had a split in the dressing room. Like, even though G was traded to chase a cup, Torts got Hayes out of that dressing room pretty quick due to possible strong influence in that room. You’re not gonna get the truth from anyone in Philly. Too much is being made from a 3 minute clip in an hour long interview where Dale Weise spoke of both the bad and the good for his experience throughout his entire career.

  2. Jagr was his only legit linemate during his reign, so I can understand if there were times when G mentally checked out. He's one of those players I deem "great player, wrong organization." If you don't surround your elite playmaker with elite goal scorers, then you're not going to make it far.

  3. What would Dale have to gain by lying about stuff like that. We could see this team’s shortcomings before our eyes. Most years we couldn’t even make the playoffs.

  4. Nasty says other equipment managers talk about their room being a mess all the time. But he never saw his room as a mess even though a player who was in the room said it was. Or does this equipment manager have his own podcast and want guests and not want to piss anyone off. Pretty vlear to me. I mean, they brought in Torts to "bring in a better culture." I mean, join the dots, kids.

  5. Weiss just sounds bitter. Angry bitter people talk a lot of shit. I'm not saying he is lying. His perception of the situation is his reality. But take it all with a grain of salt

  6. The Flyers have missed the playoffs 9 of the last 13 years. There is no culture as we are the definition of mediocrity that continues to make the same mistakes. I am a former Flyers season ticket holder of 25 years and I don’t think they will ever win anything as long as Comcast owns them. This ownership is no different than Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder as it is year after year of mediocrity. It all starts at the top.

  7. So over 20 mins & we learned nothing , maybe u guys lean on Weiss might be overreacting or have a beef with Jake & G . So let’s protect the franchise & not tell the fans the truth .. That has worked out great for this team the last 50 years ….

  8. Giroux was a bumb captain. he captained the worst stretch in flyers history for exactly the reason he said. No accountability. Most overrated Flyer ever. Fuck him.

  9. Weisse was one of the worst Flyers of the last 20 years, a talentless overpaid plug. I watched the whole podcast and it was a joke. Two Winnipeg ass wipes blowing smoke with hometown Weisse with a few beers. Weisse made himself sound like he was a major force in the NHL, winning playoff series', a real star. Even bragged about being a top scorer, siting being a 30 goal scorer (28 one year in AHL). He was really feeling himself as tRAV and the other guy kissed his ass, and went on a role ripping the NHL, the country of Sweden, the SHL, Torts, G, Jake, and any topic they threw at him. The plug had all the answers. Who knew.

  10. You're basically asking Switzerland what they think about Germany and France lol

  11. Got benched, got butt hurt, thought he was better than he was and has whined about it ever since. Seems pretty transparent.

  12. Giroux has always been a baby , fringe star player never a superstar thought he was better then Crosby , then cried to the media about losing to him in the playoffs

  13. "Geeeeeee" was a problem. All you fan bois sukkked him offf. WORST "captain" in Flyers history.

  14. Why hide what happened that he saw as a player. Why throw it back as Weise? I think this video is BS to make him look bad and for the views. Trying to protect the Flyers locker room. I've been a Flyers Fan since I was 6 years old in 1967 when they became an NHL Franchise. G was not a great Captain, during his time in Philly. He was a great player but not a good Captain.

  15. Sounds like a "family argument". I hung around brothers who would fist fight lol. I didn't talent sides. We all used to fight then be friends again. My friends and I were/are close as family. Things happen, gotta get over it. 👊✌️🤣😅

  16. He's comparing Towes/Kane to Giroux/Jake. G never had a Towes or Kane. G never had a legit supporting cast. He held those teams together and dragged them into the playoffs often.

  17. Dale Wiese's opinion means squat to me. The real reason the Flyers have been a non-factor the last decade and a half is talent. Their drafts and trades have been suspect. Look at all of the players that left here and won Cups elsewhere. Richards, Carter, Justin Williams, Brayden Schenn, Bobrovsky, Patrick Sharp, Coburn, Gagne, Handzus, etc. The Ryan Ellis debacle. Not drafting Maker was the icing on the cake.

  18. They were party animals. Simple as that they wanted to party as where someone like crosby wanted to win and probably held people accountable.

  19. I didn't read anything into Dale Weise's comments. He was asked to compare/contrast his experience on the locker room culture with the Flyers with that of other teams. He was basically saying the veteran players didn't really set the tone.
    That's a team-building issue that management didn't have a handle on.
As for the hot takes by media and podcasters saying Weise is throwing people under the bus, do you want players and ex-players to be honest in their answers or would you rather hear the same old scripted BS?
