This was huge to unload this contract. I wish Montreal did it last year, but it is what it is. Now Montreal needs to go after a #2 true center. I really think McTavish is not in the mix but sure do hope so.

Teams should not be able to trade players who are never playing again due to injury.It's rigging the cap space.
Dryden just died,how about trading for him since he has as much chance of playing for San Jose as Price.Dryden was a far superior goalie to Price anyday.
