    Gil, Prokorov listed at 218lbs in all draft guides. I believe he will play at 240+ when fully mature based on body type & wouldn't that be a different maker in playoffs?

    This really is great news I am glad he won't be stuck in Russia. I think he has real potential to be a tough 4th liner will cause havoc.

    Time to forget players like Daniil, Eiserman, Matthew, Eklund….years away, if they even get to play for the islanders..Why is no one talking about the young players who should be on this team, such as , Joe Larson, Jefferies, Beckman…better than Mclean, Engvall, Duclair, Gatcomb, Max T. Nelson and Finley should be starters on this team NOW, if not for school…

    The future is certainly looks promising! We certainly will be adding more future players with our 2 2026 first rd picks! Darche might even be able to pull off more 1 st rd picks potentially with Lee and JGP. Regardless there should be a higher competitive level come training camp which should help produce a more competitive team this year. Healthy with better PP and PK would make a huge difference! Certainly more excited than the previous 4 seasons. We are on our way!

    Hi Gil! Hope you’re well! Isles have drafted speed, grit, sandpaper and talent. For so many years and years we drafted smaller guys with no bite. I hope this young man becomes our future enforcer/power forward! They may not all pan out but the beauty of it is that they will all come in around the same time and will be part of a “New Isles era” and that will make them play hard for each other and pull for each other and protect one another. With the salary cap progressing in teams best interests, we will have a good chance to keep them together for a good while and this could be so special down the short road. As fans we will have to be patient because there will be growing pain losses and series much like our beloved Dynasty teams had to endure but I say 4/5 years and we will be ready to win. What this Gm has done is arguably a master piece. We were old, stagnant and in deep waters with trouble. Hope and success is on the horizon and as fans, we deserve it. We may not have the longest stretch for no cup but it’s been long enough already. Islander Pride is in the process of being restored. LGI and Never Say Die!! Take care Gil!
