Price’s huge bonus was paid, and most of his contract is insured. The Sharks are on the hook for almost nothing, except cap space that isn’t an issue.
Please go back to using the old team magnets. These may look pretty, but they are harder than hell to read.

On a serious note: Despite being on LTIR, Price is under contract. Does that mean he has to report to the team? Does he have to do what they ask of him, as long as his medical concerns are covered? My suggestion being, maybe he goes to San Jose, and they ask him to tutor the VERY young Askarov there? (Or any others; essentially, an assistant goalie coach)

Re: Zary, I'm sure that the team is concerned about the long-term effects of the knee injuries he suffered last season. Both were pretty ugly, and both to the same knee. I know I am concerned as well, but more about his long term health than how much he can contribute. Hoping he has a great bounceback year!

The Carey trade is interesting in both that I think it was to keep them above the cap floor, and that Carey agreed to it; he's on an NMC.

pay attn to the stats hockey guy. Gannon Laroque has had major injuries and has played 18 gms in 2 yrs with his last in 2023-24 season. Thus he hasn't skated in quite some time. He may not play again due to his hip problems. SJ needed Montreal to take on his contract due to already having used 49 of their 50 pro contract limit

Why would the Sharks do this? Is it a publicity stunt? Will the Sharks actually fly him down there for a photo opp? Sharks fans aren't that dumb.
Wish THG would explain in some detail why Price's contract is even being moved if his career is over. For eg, how much $ does Price get for not playing out his contract AND why would another team assume the contract?

Truly a Kent Hughes masterclass, receives a free 1st for taking Monahans deal from Treliving and gives basically nothing to get rid of Prices deal. But Treliving is also an all-time horrible GM.
Carey Price was idolized by Carter Hart for years, having come from the same hometown. They work out together in the off-seasons. I don't see their friendship ending. Wouldn't surprise me to see both get a try-out together.
