  1. Demidov is insane, Florian looks almost ready, Reinbacher and Engstrom played a bit soft and Reinbacher didnt play the body on the 2-2 goal against, he went fishing instead. They need more time in Laval

  2. Florian should kick out someone… Sorry but he adds more then the blah players like Dach, Newhook, he has a role and can score too on 4th line.

  3. Glad to see the boys enjoying the Demidov Show together. Definitely an expectation of "something" happening every time he steps on the ice. That move behind the net with an opponent on him was SICK (for Shane). The other stand outs for me were Protz, Reinbacher, Engstrom, Thorpe, Xhekaj and I liked what I saw from Mesar. I thought Reinbacher needed a full big minutes all situations year in Laval, but he was far and away better than anyone (except Demidov) on the ice. He obviously still has to work on things but he was always cool and collected, and making smart plays…so if he continues playing like that in camp, he will make the Habs for the start of the season. Engstrom will be Matheson's replacement when the time comes…and with Hughes/Gorton watching these kids impress…it might be sooner than later. Demidov will run that 2nd line (I'm sure he will find time on the first line with Suzuki as well)…but who will his line mates be? Will he find chemistry with Laine (bc Demidov needs someone to finish)? Will Dach or Newhook be able to Center for Demidov? The main camp will definitely help answer some of those questions hopefully. I'm still apprehensive with the Habs team defensive play (ie holding on to leads), but I know the MSL playbook is he wants his team to be able to dictate the pace of play…but will we still see Mtl get badly outshot, making too many turnovers, have difficulty with more physically mature and experienced teams??? I know the "offensive" potential of this team is HIGH…but those issues I mentioned could still be issues for this team. But we shall see. Note: I haven't seen the official press statement yet but nice to see the Habs add a European Scout to their department…Welcome Jan-Åke Tiensuu! Go Habs Go!
