Twitter – https://x.com/hecichockey Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/hecichockey

Mitch Marner didn't leave Toronto for more money, or a better chance at winning the Cup, or to play for his hometown, etc. Mitch Marner left because he's Mitch Marner. He's the type of guy who's in peak physical condition who is one of the first to drop out of special forces selection. His entire career path is void of challenges and when he faced them, he backed down. You tell Matthews his hands are too valuable to risk getting in a fight, but that doesn't stop you from blocking a shot. And what does he do? Comes out 4th among NHL forwards in blocked shots. Some fight, some flight. Toronto will miss Marner in the pond hockey games and that's it.
As a leaf fan I can’t stand leaf fans. All they do is bitch calling their best players bums. You watch Marner will win a cup next year or the year after. He left cuz he can’t stand the fans anymore.
Side note, don’t know what it is but leafs play differently as soon as it’s playoffs. Not sure why
sadly his vision is worthless if he turns blind in playoffs 😀
Leafs need more physicality which marner couldn't help with. I think they will be in better shape this year
Leafs are cooked lol
