It's not like Foxy played terrible last year…let's hope this challenge is accepted and the challenge is met.

Love Adam Fox, but he has 3 flaws in his game. 1st is his size, he can't do much about this but he can work out and get stronger and probably put on 10lb of muscle pretty easy. 2nd, his skating speed. It's probably mid at best. Again this is not easy to improve upon but he can work on skating technique to get faster and quicker. He will never approach the McDavid class of speed but he can get faster. 3rd is his endurance. He slows down during the season and playoffs. He 100% can get better here, just has to put the time in getting in shape.
All reports are saying He is doing probably all of this. Not sure about skating skills but he apparently is working out alot this off season.
Let's hope a new pairing for Fox help his game. I just don't see all the top 5 D man accolades directed towards Fox the last 2 seasons. He plays slow and measured.
I'm just spit ballin' here: but maybe Drury adjusting Ryan Martin's position is designed to streamline / improve the way the Wolf Pack and the players ( Rangers Prospects) are managed.
Just a thought.
It would help if he had size and weight, but I feel he’ll do just fine this year with a good partner.
Let's be honest Adam Fox is a very good defenseman especially when he's up against normal competition. You put them in something like the four Nations and I don't think he's going to be as elite as people think he is.
Whatever bedeviled the team last year better now be in the trash bin and old news. Happy for Wheeler. Still have picture of his jaw-dropped expression following a goal he made off an outstanding back of the net redirection from Zibanejad. I want that Mika back. Blake should be good influence in the locker room.
Fox is a known quantity. He is an offensive minded player who struggles on defense because of his lack of mobility and dimunitive stature. He can't intimidate in a physical or speed nature. But he is a cerebral player, That makes up for some of the weaknesses.
Fox is weak he needs to bulk up and get tougher have some pride skate more and harder before and after practice all off season.

I think Fox will be moved to the Ducks. Why? Their defense needs help. and the Rangers can get a slew of draft picks in return and a prospect or 2.
