    43:05 Uh-huh. This is what's called pandering to one of the biggest market franchises in the league.

    Seems like there's been sweeping, younger, media replacements around the NHL lately. In COL they are scared to ask hard questions for fear of losing cred, its pretty pathetic; seems like similar in NY. A nameless media veteran once asked JB why Nichushkin played so much & if there was any thought of managing those minutes in the regular season. JB's defiant response was: "I'll play Val 40 minutes a night if I have to!" This was right before Val literally went AWOL in Seattle. Since that time, there has been ZERO second-guessing JB or any Avs employees on anything. Media now finds inventive ways to tow the line, rather than back in the day when spicy drama & scoop investigation made for better headlines & more media sales.

    It's pretty obvious Drury is demolishing the old guard & the question we all have is why? We know Mikka is unhappy: why not dump him like Drury can't get around an NMC? How is Sullivan gonna handle this upheaval? Who else is on the Outs? Is all this to prop up Shesterkin somehow? Are they looking for a big coup trade like Kaprizov? Is all this just a big reaction to Tom Wilson pwning Panarin years ago? We'll have to wait for a memoir for any sort of real answer.
