   I'd hate him going to the Rangers but I think it's the most likely I'd be curious to see what a trade package would look like maybe Lafreniere and Perreault/Othmann gets something done but idk.

   As a lifelong MN sports fan, of course he doesn’t want to be here. When your ceiling is a perennial first round exit it makes sense. If he goes to Carolina I’m jumping ship…go canes. Just please don’t go to Vegas or Dallas🙏

    He has shown his color and it is green! Not Minnesota green, or Dallas green. He wants 2 things, $ and warm weather, so sign with Tampa for 17m and fake an injury until the contract expires!

    The best thing for Minnesota would be McDavid re-signing at a reasonable number. That puts a cap on Kaprizov's value, since it's pretty impossible to argue that he's better than McDavid.

    If Kirill gets traded before the deadline, he's probably going to Carolina. If he is moved after this upcoming season ends, he is probably going to Chicago or Tampa. I don't see the Rangers or Kings happening. I would rather the Lightning go get Erik Karlsson, but that's just me.

    Does anyone remember how mind-blowing Panaran's contract was years back…"for a winger?" 11.6 x7m or something. Kirill has the same agent. I'm guessing he'll take it right into training camp and try to squeeze the wild for a couple more million. Kirill has never expressed anything but love for MN, said recently that he's embarrassed by the "leaked contract information" .

    If he’s traded I think it would be to Carolina and if he reaches free agency I think it would be Chicago. I’d bet Carolina wants to try to make another splash after the Rantanen thing didn’t work out last year. And with the Hawks this is the kinda splash they badly need to make and Mark Lazarus, who is probably their biggest critic, has been pretty consistent in saying their is mutual interest there over the last year or so

    Big name players that go to NYC show only thing: celebrity and money are more important than winning. The Rangers history hasn’t exactly shown that they’re good at winning much of anything save regular seasons.

    I don't think you're being realistic about what Minnesota will demand back. Hawks would need to give up Nazar, Moore and a first. Rangers would need to give up Cuylle, Lafreniere and two firsts. Carolina would need to give up Aho or Slavin. LA would need to give up Kempe and a first. Kaprizov is a top 5 player in the league and teams need to pay.
