Honestly if Washington ever decides to finally pull the trigger on a rebrand I would not be against them promoting the newly revealed alternate to the new home jersey and making a white version as the away and making the red white and blue screaming eagle the new primary logo
Caps are great at every 3rd looking about 20x better than their mains.

I swear the stripe pattern on the sleeves and bottom of the jersey is near identical to the 2019 Blackhawks winter classic and the 2021 Jersey jersey from the Devils.

Mason was practicing on ice with Ducks teammates and coach last week, and seemed extremely happy. so, my guess is that the agreement is already in place, just timing the announcement for max positive effect. Separately, you and Yv doing the live stream (proof of life) was great to see and watch, thank you, and Yv for being so wonderfully open with the Q&A. Appreciate what you both do; know it's likely not possible without her; very glad for you, her, and the kids that she's making headway.

The Caps jersey is honestly kinda mid. Not too fond of the white shoulders. Should've been fully red or the original turquoise. Those Wings jerseys though are legit fire. Already ordered one, and I dont even like the Wings

new Caps jersey is ok, but it reminds me of 1 the red CBJ alternates. Not a fan of the white shoulder boards, though maybe they were needed to differentiate from that CBJ jersey

Speaking of Eddie Giacomin and the Red Wings, his return to MSG as a Wing a couple of days after the Ranger waived him and the Wings picked him up was one of the craziest things I've ever seen in hockey. Well, actually I didn't see it, I listened to it on the Rangers radio broadcast. If you've never heard the story you should look it up.
