  1. Fedotov is the worst goalie in the league rn. Clumsy, too big…only reason he is in nhl is his size. Apart from size he is averege european league goalie. In KHL he had good numbers but not in that much of a matches. That size bias in goatelnding is frustrating, there are so many good goalies that are smaller but HELL NO he is 6'4 HE MUST BE GENERATIONAL

  2. 'The Plank' Moves to Columbus; so i'll assume Harts going back to Philly…

  3. DeBoer doubled down on his thoughts both on Otter and the loss afterward. His further chirping is unnecessary 😒

  4. Aw man, that's awesome. Glad to see Kelly Chase getting that recognition.
I had recently got an autographed card of his so I did some research on him. A real community hero for sure!

  5. Preseason is always fun because you get to hear fans react to results like they’re indicative of where the team will be at in March – even though for much of it, teams are playing a lot of their prospects and the top guys usually don’t get into games until about halfway through and you don’t really see what the lines are until the end, if at all in preseason.

  6. By the way THG has no leg to stand on, criticizing anyone else's ability to pronounce names. Lol Narn

  7. Vegas won both of their rookie showcase games, 8-1 against Utah and 3-2 against Avalanche. Honestly goalies looked great

  8. Fedotov is a good pick up for the Jackets. After Greaves and Elvis there was no depth. Now they have insurance in the event of an injury.

  9. It would be interesting to hear about the union, the different leaders and what they managed to accomplish during their time. At least the bigger agreements and things that affected the NHL/specific players in a more significant way.

  10. It’s a shame that Fedotov sucks because of the hell he went through to get here. But suck he does.

  11. This type of trade is one the Jackets really like to make, minimal salary paid with higher cap to ensure staying clear of the floor; especially an expiring contract.

  12. Bob Goodenow was way better than Eagleson. We're still waiting for that piece of scum to die, he's 92 years old right now!

  13. This might bring a smile to your face, Shannon….Brandsegg-Nygard was asked on the way out of the hotel what is goal song would be. His answer? "Du Hast" by Rammstein!

  14. as a Flyers fan to me it seem that Fedotov at times missed judged the angles and speed of the NHL with his size if he can figure it he may be dangerous . last season he had some ok games the other times he looked shaky out of place if he can fix that yes the Flyers free up cap here and he only on the clock for this season i think maybe that why the Blue Jackets made the move so is another move coming ?

  15. Made perfect sense to me with the cap being the way it is this year (next offseason will be better) and not trying to go into LTIR for Ellis. While I don’t see Vladar, Ersson, and Kolosov as an elite goalie triumvirate, I think they’ll be better than last year and Fedotov’s high salary and mediocre performance didn’t fit in, great move Briere!

  16. DeBoer's track record of throwing players under the bus is well known. Mea Culpa moment from him is way too late. The sword in Fleury's back captured him perfectly.

  17. Fedotov most likely stays at Cleveland in the AHL. With trading away Tarasov, and moving Jet up as 1a or 1b, Cleveland was left with no startiing goalie that has NHL experience to call up in an emergency. They don't want to rush their other goalie prospects into a starting AHL role they aren't ready for. Now they have a 3rd goalie in their system with experience, and with his high cap hit, the chances of him clearing waivers to go back to Cleveland are pretty high.

It will also be beneficial for Fedotov since he will actually be getting a lot of ice time, which it sounds like he wasn't going to get with the Flyers or the Phantoms.

And it's refreshing that Don Waddel has been very transparent about his process, so this move makes total sense with his off-season objectives.

  18. I hate pre-season games, all I do is pray a good player won't get injured by a try hard. Goodenow at least wasn't corrupt and screwing the players. I know that's a low bar, but ya. The players are never getting off the 50% cap because it is "fair" to the general population. Those who don't follow hockey, don't know much about it, but are willing to weigh in on every discussion, 50% is fair. They don't know that players are screwed out of sales of teams and the massive capital gains they helped to build or a bunch of other stuff.

  19. 100% spot on THG, Chaser has been a HUGE part of the St. Louis community, helped so many kids in dire circumstances in local hospitals. Can't really say enough about KC. 💙 Forever
