Love this jersey. It’s fresh and new. The striping and shoulder yoke looks great. The number kit looks amazing on this jersey. I love the shoulder patch too.
YES! It’s not white!! That was my only fear with the leaked image. It was very tough to determine that aspect of the jersey. If it was white, I’d think it would be a flop. The shoulder patch should be on both sides, I agree. Other than that, it’s one I’ll look to add to my collection for sure!
There is a slight nod to The Edmonton Flyers a minor pro team that was around from the 40’s to the 60’s. Similar font style and various striping. Colours different.
I think if they’d have filled in the blue S with an orange oil drop the thing would have popped. Overall I don’t mind them going in a different direction.
These sweaters look great because the Oilers went outside the box from everyone else standing out going for being creative instead sticking to the concept of being trendy. The colors look great, the letters look good & the sweater itself just make it look like it could be a collectors idem in a heartbeat. Well done Oilers, "You definitely stood out but keep it traditional in your own way showing it". An absolute "A+".

Agreed on the C patch. Should be centered between the word mark and shoulder yoke.
It’s good overall and I like the subdued “tan/cream/whatever” color it is. This will look great on ice!

the negative space in the S is great, the negative space in the O however just looks strange to me for some reason
when you through up that comparator photo to the Blues, it struck me just how unoriginal the striping and yoke are.
