  1. I care about: Ritchie and George – I want them to make it, so it's to the point the team can't leave them off the roster. However the team figures it out, I'm hoping it works out that the "next ups" are pushin' hard! This includes Shabs, I want them to rock the boat in a competitive way, force the teams hand. We know what they rest can do (there are backstories … How will Druin mesh with Bo? Will Barzal actually be effective and stay healthy? Will DuClair show up this year? Will DeAneglo continue to be a pleasant surprise?) BUT the 2 Next-Up's are Ritchie and George. Really tho, if these 2 guys can't show progression this year, they going to be sniffin' round the "bust" lane.

  2. None of these lines are set. Roy is just trying combinations. There's no way he kicks Lee and Palms down to the 3rd line in that situation, but I would be surprised if he isn't eyeballing Holmstrom and Tsyplakov moving up the lineup early on. Holmstrom has scored a few from the off side, and I think he and Sippy could do real well with Barzal centering. 2 solid skaters, both good along the boards and both are quick thinking playmakers with good shots.

  3. doesn't matter who plays on what line. team is non playoff caliber, which is fine. collect as many assets as possible over next 3 years, sign some decent FAs especially on D…then let's see what happens as sorokin/barzal/horvat start to age. need to cash in on Lee and Palms this trade deadline.
