  1. Treliving has done an outstanding job with contracts this season. All must agree with that. However, just as important is, is that the guys who he's signed – Tavares, Knies, Stolarz – REALLY want to be here. To me that's the added sauce in the equation, and makes me happy that they're here. They WANT to be Leafs! Good stuff!

  2. 2:23 No it wasn't. The main question was how he would perform as a potential starter in the playoffs having literally never having done it before. He won a Stanley Cup with extremely little ice time throughout the run, 35 minutes during 1 game to be precise. That was his big question mark, how he'd perform under extreme pressure and not just during the regular season. He seemed to do well until getting injured putting up a .901 throughout the 7 games he played. Hard to conlcude very much with so little games played but it was at least a good start. Good enough to deserve another shot to show what he can do hopefully without injury

  3. Do we have any bad deals besides Morgan Reilly, which is really just ok and not ideal for a #1? Chris tanev may age out but is worth it right now.

  4. Crazy that Stolarz was able to play 40 games in the 1920 season after being drafted in 2012. Man is a great goalie and a time traveler. Also being drafted at what I assume is 110 years old just shows how talented he really is.

  5. Leafs trying to prevent Zito from signing him after Benny, Tkachuk, Pastranak, Jack Hughes and Barlov all join the LTIR in October '26.

  6. Safe to say I think he's liking Toronto. Sucks he didn't get a chance to be a full time starter earlier in his career, whether due to injury or being behind one of the best in the world. I really think he coulda been in Vezina contention by now if his career had gone a little differently. He certainly has the skill (and unlike a certain someone, it doesn't disappear in the playoffs)

Between this, Knies and Tavares I'm really liking Tre. He's able to keep guys happy without just folding to them. There are teams in the league who would have given Stolarz 5 or 6, I genuinely believe that.

  7. I'm kinda shocked that he didn't get more money and yet I don't feel bad. Fantastic deal by tree. Showing Leafs nation what a real GM does.

  8. Woll may never play again I think he got something he was sat out because I'll then he leaves maybe it was something more then the flew that's seems like the most likely thing

  9. 0:33 if this comment section was less mature, i bet most people would just be spamming "6 7" in the comments because of this. I guess that makes me the least mature person here

  10. Given that goalies in the NHL are all injury prone, having both these goalies signed up is a Bargain.
