My feelings abut Nick Robertson are similar to Darius. I like him, but his complete game needs to improve somewhat, as well as better consistency. I feel like he is so close to taking that next step.

I have yet to see Cowan do anything against NHL players. Danford looks ready to move up though.
Robertson in Game 1 didn’t look that good against Ottawa. He scored a goal in a pre season game and game 1 it was. Cowan didn’t look that great either. Watch the replay of the game. Robertson should have been gone to San Jose already.

No player who's average toi is less than his has more goals almost none even got more than 10 goals per season. Nick had 14 and 15 each season. Absolutely shocking a player this good doest get more ice time

Seriously, just another stupid prediction about Nick Robertson.? Now that Marner is gone we could really use his scoring talents. The media in Toronto needs to look at how they may be ruining this team in order to fill their needs to write about the Leafs. It is getting tiring. Nick scored 5 times in last preseason. Then had 1 in first 20 regular season games! He’s not a fit here .
Just dumb to trade an improving Robertson with low cap hit. Maccelli is really a 3.4 mil wild card. The real difference between the two is one got top line minutes plus powerplay time and one did not. You put Robertson with the two big boys and watch him use his NHL shot when he is given the room. 20 goals easy. Probably a better chance Maccelli gets traded if he plays like last year.

Nick Robertson is not being traded………unless it's a Mason Macintosh package deal.
2:52 i think a lot of people treat robertson like hes on hee 4th or 5th try, this here "yeah 2 seasons ago was his best" which is true, but you also forget that 2 years ago was his first full season. Robertson has never been given the chance to show what hes got. I think berube likes him and we are gonna see more of Robertson, especially if he plays like he did on sunday.

I would rather package Robby in a bigger trade for a higher end RW then sell him for some assets. Let him score some goals and build up more demand that a rebuilding team would covet!
They already tried to trade him on once and no one wanted him. To trade him to the package will be Robertson plus that is the only way he gets traded
