Igor has looked sharp in his starts this preseason. Not worried about him.
Not too worried about Mika either. He'll contribute, maybe not like he did at his prime. I'm more worried about Laff. He's gotta step up and prove he's worth $7M a year.
I'm pleasantly surprised with Noah Laba. He's making a strong argument to be on the starting roster.
Kaprizov resigned for 17aav once again my prediction was incorrect.
Igor did not have a great season because his D sucked & the forwards did not play defense. Case closed! Laba>Parsinnen & Brodzinski & should be on the team. Raddysh was an utterly stupid signing. He & Soucy need to be traded ASAP(won't happen). Laf needs to be on LW on 1st line. Third line–Cullye-Laba-Berard/Perreault/Othmann. Maybe I'm blind, but Robertson looks really steady out there to me & he is good on the wall.
Announcer said last night that Igor faced more shots than any other goalie in the NHL last season. That reflects badly on the 4 guys on the ice with him – and Quick got shelled, too. The announcers last season constantly called out K Miller and Laffy; K is gone and Coach Sullivan sees hope for raising Laffy's play. Same for Z. If Coach gives them a chance, fans should offer support as a new season opens.
