    Coyle wasn’t an UFA. His cap is 5.5M… little rich for a 3C, he was leveraged to move the wood contract, and freed up 8M between the two. Burns (for 1M) will take Makar’s place on the PK so he can be deployed an extra 2 mins/game at 5v5. Avs just didn’t need to sign much this summer. I think they had one of the better offseason.
