Shmidt was great for us down the stretch. He deserves his bag. Petry has an offensive side to his game too.

The Petry signing is a little concerning. The other team I watch is the red wings and he has been by far one of the worst d men ive seen in the league right now. People are comparing him to how people reacted to Jones, he aint no Jones I can tell you that much lol. There are underappreciated players and then there are just bad players. He is definitely worse than how Marc Staal was in like every aspect except offense. But who knows, he might come back to 21 Petry a little bit.
Definitely would impact depth if they lose erod. And since depth was what got them over the hump vs every team last playoff run, its a tad concerning. So either gotta trust the process of losing key guys or cross fingers for things to work out well with back ups. Go Cats

Hopefully the Cats this season will rotate guys in and out of the lineup to give guys rest. That’s what I hope Pomo and the rest are advocating for this season because of Olympics and long runs to the cup final

Great summary Jaws. In a way its very good for the Panthers that free agency was boring. Also it looked like our biggest rival the past 2-years, the Oilers, potentially got weaker!
