Flyers stink. I am a fan who is bored watching this team. The D is mediocre as well as the goalie. Offensively they are ok, but not great either. I just don’t see anything good cooking. Boooo

Drysdale can play, can skate, make plays but seems he chooses not to play to his potential..Tip is like that too. The other under achievers just aren't very good. Defense and goaltending wins hockey games!! Ours is pretty much non existent!
I think the confidence from grebenkin is a great thing. It will either propel him or humble him and he can make adjustments from there. This is the season for that we don’t have playoff expectations so why not let him grow and learn.
I've never liked Sean Couturiers style of play and if I had a choice in the matter I would trade him. I say if he stays healthy this season trade him while you can still get something back in return. 😢😢
Michkov not improve his speed , he's slow maybe a power play specialist , something is sure he will never be a complete player 🤔🤷
Deslauriers is a complete liability, I simply can't watch another season with Deslauries rolling out there 8 minutes a game. Also last last night, Tippet looked completely lost. I feel bad for this kid, he just doesn't fit. I would try Grybenkin with Mich and Zegras, but they have to be sure you have Sanhein and York on D when they are out there.
Russ, you are spot on with Ersson. He never seems to make a big save to cover for defensive mistakes. He is what he is, and its simply not good enough.
Not hard to tell the season is about to start….Russ gets in fine form. Negative about everything. Been the same for years. Take this Rangers fans takes with a pinch of salt. They could win the cup and he would still spout his drivel.
Fingers crossed that Vladar can give them league average goaltending. He definitely has the ability and if he does he will get the majority of the games. Does a .905 lead to a playoff spot? maybe so
Russ is incredibly rude to his cohost. It stems from him treating all of his opinions pure fact. Very close-minded, negative and unfit for this type of role. After a trial period of watching 5 or 6 episodes, I will not be returning.
Mr. Russ is very negative. I understand it’s his job, but Damn it’s really hard to watch!
I say this with all due respect, because I do appreciate the knowledge and insight you both bring about the Flyers and the league. That said, I think something needs to change with the overall tenor of this podcast. I get that the team is struggling right now, but almost every topic seems to come from a negative or doom and gloom perspective. As fans, we’re already taking enough of a beating on the ice , it’s tough when the podcast we look forward to ends up feeling more depressing than informative or hopeful. I’m not asking you to sugarcoat or lie to us, but maybe think about delivering the tough truths in a way that still keeps us engaged and looking forward to how things can improve. I really do like what you both do, but right now the tone makes it hard to want to keep listening
Russ, despite the calls for you to blindly cheerlead, please don't change how you approach this podcast. This team stinks. Continue to keep it real.
