Honestly I hated that name I didn't want it to be named Seattle Kraken I don't really think of sea monster either when I think of hockey I don't know it's just weird to me and their jerseys are okay they're just plane you know nothing to them basically other than that logo I don't like it but I don't hate it but I don't like the name

It took them almost two years to just announce Krakken is their name, to the surprise of no one. 🙂 I really like their name and logo quite a bit! That jerseys and color scheme is really sharp, too.

Karken was my 2nd choice, l actually liked Totems better, to tie in with hockey history in Seattle, and the Seattle Totems of the old Western Hockey league….but Kraken is fine. I just wish they had gotten away from blue as a color, because just about every other pro or amateur clubs colors in Seattle, is some sort of blue. True, this is a deeper blue, and combined with the lighter color blues, brings to mind the waters of Puget Sound, where the worlds largest octopi live…oh, so THAT'S it!! I'm not crazy about the logo, I saw fan logos that seemed to be thought out more. This also is too close to the 'S' of the Seattle Mariners and if I were an owner of a new sports franchise in Seattle, l would want to place as much distance as I could, between my new team and perennial loosers like the Mariners.

I really like the logo and Jersey and the team name is perfect although I was thinking more a bold color scheme with orange and teal being the main colors but I love what they did and can't wait
