MacDermid was acquired because Xhekaj has something crazy like a 4-0 record against MacEwen. MacDermid will probably be the guy fighting Arber since we know Nick Cousins won't be fighting anyone.

Game just ended. Wow, if the Nucks don't use Lekkerimäki and Cootes regularly, well you know. They played excellent tonight, along with Garland who you can always count on. I'd love to see that line. Not that the vets didn't play well, like Hughes is always the best player on the ice but the Nucks need to use more young players. The old guys can use a rest on the powerplay as the young guys take over and raise hell. Great game.

The fall of the CHL needs to be studied. It wasn't that long ago when the American college system was considered a joke and a terrible path for players to take, and all the real prospects were in the CHL.
