Gonna comment before I even hear you guys talk. The three kids are making a major case for themselves. Finnie has an unbelievable work ethic on the ice, he deserves to be on the squad. MBN is clearly better than a lot of the bottom six guys and ASP has a seriously high ceiling on the blue line.
Idk but I think NBN, Fini, and ASP are all making opening night roster. They are an upgrade.
Best hockey player name? yvonne cormier. Favorite defenseman growing up in the 70's? boria salmy. Best defenseman of all time? Nicklaus Lindstrom.
The problem with Larks in front of the net religiously is Hes the 3rd. D back. Center is your third defenseman. That's why forechecking (Not a real word) is paramount for your wingers.
MBN, and Finnie should 100% be on the roster over Ras, Compher, or Bergren. Rasmussen is such a massive waste of a good frame.
Ras is not going anywhere. He stays. Just wish He knew how to fight.
EVERY wings podcaster has been way behind the 8-ball regarding how good these rookies are…and they are the ones always whining about how the Wings dont promote young players. It has been the knowledgeable fans that have been saying ASP, Finnie and Nygard are going to make the team. FFS, ASP is already one of the best D in the organization. I dont understand all the nickpicking about his mistakes when we have a historically bad defensive core. Finnie is already on the team, you guys are NOT paying attention…Nygard reminds me of a young Shanny, same heavy shot, and potentially even better. All the wings podcasters are beta males and not willing to give a hot take
