Hold on… there are actually knights in Vegas? How do y’all morons not understand what the Kraken is. It fits perfectly with the city. Look at the Mariners! That being said, I don’t love the primary logo and do like the anchor logo better.

Honestly, I think the name, "Kraken", matches well with the rest of the Seattle teams. The mariners are related to the sea, the Seahawks are related to the sea, and the Sounders, it's just referencing the Puget Sound. Yes, I do think they could've done a better job on the logo, but the colors of the logo are really beautiful.
Seattle Seahawks. Seattle Mariners. Seattle Seawolves (is a real thing but mascot is different). Seattle Storm. Seattle Sounders FC. Seattle SuperSonics. When has Seattle ever had a non-fictional name? The Seattle Kraken fits right in with other Seattle sports. Appreciate the consistency before criticizing how mythical the name is.
My argument back for the Kraken is the actual origins of Kraken is Scandinavian and traces back to the Scandinavian word for anchor Seattle and the area around it has tons of history with Scandinavian settlers and Immigrants connections they celebrate to this day. Also the golden knights aren’t golden because of Vegas it was Westpoint wouldn’t share Black Knights. And the owner was a big fan of the Army Black Knights
