    Lindholm-Peeke
    Lohrei-Jokiharju
    Brunet/Harris

    Swayman/Korpisalo

    I actually rather have Brunet than Lohrei but given the contract, probably hard.
    Rather have Korpisalo and Dipietro but given Swayman's contract, probably hard also
    Don't think they will keep both Minten and Poitras, given the choice they will keep Minten

    If Chara can't teach Lohrei to be more physical, he'll never be a good NHL defenseman. Get on him in practice to play defense! For now it may be best to play him on the third pair, spotting him and jokiharyu if trailing on the scoreboard.

    Kuraly will center and drive the 4th line, checking line, he’s also great in the dressing room, He scored that deflection Goal on a nice pass from Pasta against the Flyers, He didn’t even Celebrate it, Been there Done That. He’ll wear an A before it’s over 😊

    Solidified as likely being fairly terrible? Sure

    Blumel is a career AHLer and some folks have him in the Top 6 which is beyond laughable

    Victor Ardvidsson couldn't make things work with Leon Draistal as his linemate in Edmonton and he's their 2nd line RW?

    Casey Middlestadt is not consistent and he's soft as charmin. He's supposed to be some kind of answer at 2c? Doubtful

    The third line? Jeannot is crap on offense and defense. He's big, physical, slow and has a low talent level overall but he has to play on the 3rd line due to that dumb contract Sweeney gave him

    Minten is limited offensively and has no NHL experience. He's the 3rd line center? Okay

    Poitras is penciled in as the 3rd line wing. He's soft, and he's never had much success as a wing because he can't handle the physical board play wings have to endure at the NHL level

    If everything were to go somewhat "right" this middle six group would turn out to be "average" at best this year

    Considering there are too many question marks and warts with this middle six group, it's far more realistic to expect that his middle six struggles to produce offensively or even defensively consistently

    This team as a whole is already one Pasta injury away from being about a 55-60 point team on the year

    Realistic, largely injury free point projection for 2025-26? 78-80 points

    Very real possibility, and just a few injuries to deal with? 68-70 points

    A Pasta Injury? 60 points or less
