I called Cowan to the leafs in JUNE cause the leafs dont have enough bodies,
Benoit, Carlo and McCabe need to stick up for Cowan. Robertson is gone for sure. I think Kampf is more important to keep, if a center goes down they only have Domi.
I would be surprised if Cowan sticks in the majors……i think the leafs want to give him a look in real games…he may get six or seven…they wont want to go to 9 for sure, and note who he is playing with, he is going to be pretty safe out there. As for Mathews, i dont like to read about might play,might not, he is either over his injury or not, and if not, they better hope he gets fixed once and for all….all this stuff with him, it aint good, there are no days off when it comes to the playoffs
I see Reimer as the backup on the bench in case there is an in-game injury. Otherwise, I bet they bring up Hildeby to cover for a longer term injury. At least give him a few games.
everyone keeps saying have him play more mins in the AHL…
I think having him play 4th line minutes to start, with the opportunity to earn more minutes on special teams why not?

Domi on the top line is insane
feel like macelli cowan domi and mcmann can be interchangable they will be up and down the lineup as the season progresses i feel like cowan will be able to play in all situations and will probably end up with tavares and nylander i feel like domi and macelli will switch back and forth between the top and 3ed line based on the circumstances
Need these min guys. Cowan makes it and trade woll jannkoert and Kampf Robertson. Saves big money for rental. Would save 10 mill for deadline.
The massive disrespect to jt is staggering. Who gives a crap if auston breaks sundin record. Jt is 6 short of of 500 goals. Less than 50 players in history have done that. He will also be targeting top 35 alltime before the end.
