Obviously it's a great contract, and I'm not even a leafs fan. If he stays healthy for a full season AND the playoffs, he's like a 10 million dollar goalie.
If he gets hurt their insured and just get to spend more money. It's a win win for everyone!

Bonuses aren't taxes like income…instead they get the capital gains treatment.
