What do you think of the roster? What would you have done differently if you were the GM?
I would have kept Mancini, is Forbert right handed, and isn't Peterson a left handed defenseman. I still like Mancini.
I just worry about rushing Cootes ,but don't get me wrong the kid earned his spot
Many fans are not pleased that Mancini was sent down to the AHL. Willander going to the AHL was no surprise for anyone.
Do you think the Canucks will make a trade? I would go after Dylan Larkin to fix the centre. Petey is doing fine but they aren’t strong enough.
If we want to go for a pending UFA my vote is for one of Nick Schmaltz, Kyle Connor, or Adrian Kempe
Would it be worth trying to call Buffalo? I would try to take Tage Thompson big guy who plays centre and high scorer

Mancini should be on the roster but I guess he wasnt in over Forbert so they didnt want him sitting. My thinking is POJ wont really play unless there isnt time to call up Mancini or Whilander.
I dont think Bains will be in the starting line up on game day. Him and Karlson are the extra players. Bains was just being given one last opportunity in pre season.

Karlsson and Raty should be in the lineup ahead of Bains. Raty is better offensively and is good at faceoffs.

You know what, as much as I would love to see Cootes develop NHL strength in the minors, I think he's definitely earned his spot on the team. Hope for the best on his 9-game stint, maybe he'll surprise us and fit right in and hang around long-term…
Bains will play himself onto waivers in 5 games.
9 games for Couttes, Lieker stays,Keep Karlsson as he will not clear waivers. I like Mancini. I would try to move Hoglander once he is back. and UI think Mancini is currently a tad ahead of EPd but I am not the coach. Lucky you. IMO Hoggie injury prone, and inconsistent. I like big Oconner. He gets 9g plus 12a he is Gold
