Same shit different season, always relying on old tread players. Why Sheary, Raddysh? Brett Berard earned a spot from last year, also Johnny B where will he fit in. Favoritism reigns. If they get off to a bad start it will be an uphill battle to get back in the mix. The division is too strong. I am not happy with these moves. Buckle up for a wild and frustrating ride.

I’m a 66 year old lifetime Ranger fan. CHRIS DRURY IS THE WORST GM IN THE HISTORY OF THE TEAM!! Every move he’s made has been horrible!!! It’s amazing that someone who played the game has no eye for talent. Every trade he has made is embarrassing, we’ve been fleeced like a child and every draft pick has been worse!!! K’andre Miller will be a superstar. What do we have to show for trading Kreider, Chytil, Kakko, Miller and Trouba and others? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! Parsinnen and Vakininen SUCK!!!!!! We we are doomed until DRURY is fired! PLEASE FIRE CHRIS DRURY!!!!!!!
Sheary is not what this team needs, neither is Raddysh. Recycling a couple has beens or 'never was' players, take your pick. Bravo, Laba made the team, he has great potential. Hope he gets an 'honest' opportunity. Berard is where he belongs. I know most fans love his 'chicken with his head cut off' style but he's not an NHL player. Great move sending Perrault to Hartford so the 2nd year of his contract gets 'burned'. Great development. Rangers have 12 players over 30! Season is shaping up to be a disaster.

What happened to youth movement? Bringing in or keeping has been players. If your gonna lose rather lose with youth
Teams in the current NHL can never be competitive two lines of offensive production. The Rangers 3rd and 4th line will not be able to score enough to keep up with the top teams in the league. Too much pressure on the top two lines to score on a daily basis.
Rangers shed all their good talent and really dismantled over the past few seasons.

Sheary is ok as a 143th forward. There's no point in keeping Laba or Berard in that slot. Sheary as a part timers, box is fine.
Relax and enjoy the start of the season. Give it 10-15 games to see if any of these fringe players even stay in the lineup and give the kids time to get in game shape in Hartford. We are not a finished product by far. We have enough veterans to make/break this start. If the PP clicks, that will be the difference. Last year it went so cold, that was a major reason we fizzled. The D needs to focus on defense. Not worried about our Goalies. I'm pumped..
Just to be clear, "Two-Way Deal" means that he gets paid a lower amount in the AHL. It doesn't make it any easier to send him down, so it doesn't necessarily provide any more "flexibility" than if it was One-Way.
