  1. i thought we pulled igor a min too early but im not too worried, its one game, for all we know PIT could be a power house this yr, Goalie could take over like igor did – new system too – if they got one or two bounces its a win/tie etc cuz igor gave up ONE and we had our chances even if they were few and far between last shot comp i saw was 22 vs 23 so no dominance either way – relax, we'll make the playoffs then its a new season. LGR.

  2. It’s pretty classless for the rangers broadcasters to insult the team that just outplayed their rangers team for almost the entire 60 minutes…

  3. Valiquette is wrong because he doesn't realize that the team has a new offensive and defensive system and that dies take time. Plus, last year's first impression was a 7-0 drubbing of the Penguins. It was the first of a few games early on where the Rangers were scoring lots of goals and their goaltending was cleaning up lots of mistakes. How did that work out? People forget that when the Rangers transitioned from Tortorella's system to Vigneault in 2013 they had two games on the road where they got outscored something like 16-3. I remember an ugly loss in San Jose where Hertl had a coming out party at the Ranger's expense. That season ended with a finals appearance

  4. It's official the NHL is as contrived as all the other 'pro' sports, including all college sports. They just exist for the wagering industries. This game was totally unwatchable.

  5. Sullivan was a mistake! This guy wasn't brought here to coach out us out of the doldrums. He was brought here and given a payday by his friend. The cronyism didn't end there, this shameless bastard would rather step on our beloved prospects throats in order to get his smurfy son in law a fully guaranteed deal. The vibes are amazing so far!

  6. This is a direct result of the same characters doing the same thing. Kreider is gone. So put Rempe in front on PP. he will bound the goalie for lack of a better term. Miller in front. Anyone in front

  7. New coach, same old Rangers. They always have good coaches in their organization then let them go elsewhere and have success. I'd say Knoblauch is doing pretty well. Dan Muse is going to haunt us for years . Meanwhile, our next shiny new coaching toy will soon wish he never signed on the dotted line.

  8. Its giing to b a l9ng season…bet against them…wont win more than 25 to 28 games…..also that high price free agent defense man…did he play???like i said long season….

  9. This is goin to be a long season n there’s no hope for the future, Mcdavid n Kaprisov are off the board Nxt summer. I think another rebuild is coming
