Crazy if Chytil out scores Miller as the ‘doubted’ 2C. Chytil actually could have, and honestly, should have had 4 if he finished better. His chances were that good. That’s what’s crazy. If his flash equals his finish, he’s a 40 goal scorer.

Canucks better for the trades they didn’t make.
Biggest takeaways for me are
1. Demko is back. League be scared.
2. Chytil is more than capable of being a 2C.
3. Arshdeep Bains belongs in this team.
The one thing/negative that does look evident to me however, without Dakota Joshua, our offensive group looks real small. We’ll see how they deal with the bigger/heavier teams, but if a move gets made they need like a middle 6 guy, that can replace what he brought.
I think it probably would have been a good idea to try him at center instead of trading him so quick. But hey, good vibes right now
This could just be the organization maneuvering to pump up the trade/market value for Bains early in the campaign.
I've always believed Chytil could be a great 2nd line centre after watching him in New York a lot and his first few games in Vancouver.
You could easily see the skill, talent, speed and size is there and he always plays and works hard and it looked like it was just a matter of working on his finish and getting some chemistry with legit top 6 players.
Not going to lie was very impressed and happy to see D Petey try to light up that weasel Zary.
Guaranteed D Petey saw the chance to crush him and took it remembering that it was that little rat Zary gave him a nededless dirty headshot last season.
Demko is obviously important but he's not irreplaceable like Hughes.
Lanky is fine too.
