Dan Boyle. San Jose Shark Legend.
god damn sheng you've really been yelling into your mic lately, it's been peaking like crazy
with goodrow, we have more than training camp but years now of him sucking, now leddy seems to be getting the goodrow treatment, can we objectively say these guys has "earned it" in camp. makes sense to not overly focus on camp for vets but waiver vets like goodrow/leddy still need to fight for their jobs imo
Anybody else only getting left channel audio from Sheng?
Yes, just left side
Sheng and Boyler! Can we get Douggy Murray on the show? I want to hear his opinion on the sharks today and how he would go about shaping the sharks d.
If you guys are serious about growing your podcast, it would be wise to drop the guy that is consistently monotone and find someone that has playing experience and or puck knowledge.
Great news about Jack Han. His podcast interviews are some of my favourites. Maybe could have him on again soon?
Not sure how people are giving the green light on the hair it looks like alfalfa
Sheng sounds like an infomercial huckster now. Is he selling the Shamwow?
Dear Sheng, if your audio was a movie, it would be Boilers favorite. Love the show, my ears hurt
i have to say i agree with Zubair on Dickinson. He just looks a lot more natural out there, better than I expected him to look. It's preseason and I'm sure the defensive gaffes will be there during his rookie season, but I'm not as concerned about his decision making as I was when they drafted him. You just look for an upward trajectory to these young prospects games at this point.
Eklund going into his third season should show a jump in production as his game clicks in for him. Like you guys said, he may lose some PP time and top line minutes (he's been playing high 18 a game his rook year and mid-high 19 a game his second season) but the rearguards should be far better able to move the puck up ice to their forwards this year so opportunities should increase and he should at least maintain his last year counting stats even if his minutes is reduced by about 2 a game. We'll see. Many Statheletes projects him to play mostly on the 3rd line this year.
Can’t forget last year they lost their final 11 after trades and D decimated by injuries. So really they had 52 points in 71 games which is a 60 point pace. 70-75 seems about right. Also, no way Eklund has less than his 41 assists from last year (health assumed). 70 points for him, could crack 50 assists.
Much better on the audio mixing this week. The cuts on the dead space are a touch less aggressive.
Nice show, I appreciate listening to the inside perspective of nhl players like Mr Boyle. But just like timing is essential in hockey and other sports, the poor timing of this episode makes the content taste stale. Cardwell and Regenda played amazingly. Hat trick, 4 assists, Respectively. Probably would have changed your opening night roster predictions. It did mine.
I noticed that Sheng’s audio is quite distorted, “trashy”. Like if his mic is on high sensitivity level and he shouts in it. It started with the last episode. Anyone else noticed that?
just get someone off fiver to figure out all these audio issues good lord lmao
Wow I saw 28 Years Later and then shortly after that just so happened to start this podcast lol 😅
The kings got progressively worse, htf you think they got better?
