Theyre not ugly but the RR u got on should of been their 3rd. Too yellow & the robopenguin was popular with the 2.0
For me, this new alt, I like to call it "Caution Tape Jersey"
This one hot take i like it a lot because its defietly another take on the pirates uniforms. Would be so better either if the adidas dimples were on it to break up the uniforms.but if the adidas shoulders were on this it would be way better. I knrw it wasnt gonna be the rr2.0 as robopenguin is pretty much never coming back full time. Its basically the pirates home minus the black shoulders missing (think of the winter classic cream one as an “away” version) i think its fine to wear but on ice i think the pants and helmet shouldve been solid black to balance it out. Better than i expected not the worst but not the best but with numbers it looks way better. I will always say adidas was my favorite eta because the shoulders gave the classic nhl template a modern evolution to its design and actually made some uniforms look better. Id say i saw someone photoshop the shoulder patches on their home jersey kr their home helmets and it makes it look better.

I wish they had blue 3rd that isn’t winter classic. Also it’s odd to see NHLN on the TV with an all yellow team and it isn’t Nashville.
