This is what happens when you base the entire season off the outcome game by game. This is hilarious considering game 2. Playing like game 2, theres no reason they cant make the playoffs. Consistency is key.
No there is a reason, they have no goaltending. You cant make the playoffs without at least 1 goalie that is a legit starter. Gibson was past his prime 5 years ago, talbot is a lifetime backup who is over 40, come on folks use your noggins here. The only hope they have is that cossa suddenly is ready at some point, but hes been so inconsistent that that hope is highly unlikely. Then you have chiarot Rasmussen and whatever hasbeen steve signed to put on a 4th line that is a liability every time they touch the ice and you better hope they score 5 goals a game to win.
