I was bummed I had to leave for work after the first. Looks like it was a blessing in disguise. Pathetic boys!
You know it was definitely not the road trip. It was the lack of playing in the offensive zone. 1st period was at least ok in that part, even though Hofer gave up two unpleasant goals. In the start of the second wasn't good, I see a good reason Monte pulled Hofer over half way. Maybe they could've get Binner a little warmup. The 3rd period, I think putting Hofer back in was a mistake, if Binner could've finished it out, it could've been 6-3. But at the end of the day, it was the defense that was lacking getting the puck out the zone.
