    Any compare and contrast between practices under the new coaching regime vs the old in terms of style, tempo, coaching staff more or less hands on?

    Might be a hot take but I feel like a lot of the players that make the roster are going to have something to prove. If goaltending goes up a notch I could for sure see the pens in a playoff contention spot. After watching the prospects challenge and what I have seen so far, they don't look like that bad of a team. Could be totally wrong but you can see the moving parts starting to work even after only a year and a half.

    Broz looked good last night. I dont want to see the younger guys blocked by kevin hayes, acciari, heinen, lizotte. would rather see hallander, broz, puusty, st ivany, pickering. And graves performance last night? same old, same old. Does anyone take on EK65? Is detroit a real possibility? The athletic are saying the pens will finish 30th.

    I agree on Sergei Murashov. There's no point in rushing him. I do however hope he isn't in ECHL at all.

    So with everyone predicting the Pens to be just a degree or two above a cadaver this season, why not tell Jarry to pound sand and do a revolving door of prospects for games. Rotate your top 3 or 4 prospects. If one gets hot ride him a little more, but you'll get an idea real quick who has it and who doesn't.
