IF Skinner can play that well the majority of his games, we will be fine.
So right now Stu has a .942 Save %age and Picks has a .933 Yeah, okay.
Skinner plays great games once in a while then a dozen bad ones. Consistency is the issue here.

If Skinner manages to preserve a .910 or higher up to the trade deadline, extend him. While it would be nice, it would be ridiculous to expect Skinner to play like this for the whole season. No goalie plays like this the whole season, and tonight the Oilers played exceptionally bad. Stu stole this game for them. If he can put up a .910 – .915 most nights, on a loaded Oilers roster, we're laughin'. What's hilarious about Stu-haters (not Stu-critics, Stu-haters) is that they'll chuck this game up to luck and if the Oilers had lost this game 2 or 3 to 1, they would still blame Skinner for the loss.
It was a garbage game but you got to be able to win those too.
QUICK! Trade Skinner now while his value is high. He has got to go. He has no place in Edmonton anymore. Doesn’t matter if he got a shutout. He has cost too many games for the Oilers to be given another chance. He needs to go. Bring in Joey Daccord as a replacement and everything will be fine because unlike Skinner, Daccord is consistent and is much better behind defense that can leave him out to dry.
At this point in the regular season, Stu has made, quite literally, only one bad save, and everybody is poopooing all over him… The first 2 goals in game 1 were essentially unsaveable.. the third was a brain fart, but i also blame bouch for making it look like he was taking the puck.
We need to stop slamming the ceiling with praise, the day after we're grinding stu's name in the dirt.. The chaotic responses are tiring…

The rangers shots where low, the high shots hit the crossbar, if the rangers shot high it would of been a different game.
Its funny cause the Oilers won the game even tho they didnt play there best well number wise, and that the New York Rangers out of the home games there 0-3 in scoring goals like there home games they never scored a goal
