  1. The problem is I blame Connor Garland. Because every time that Dude is on the ice hes noticeable. Pettersson is barely visible on some shifts, so if theres no production its glaring

  2. It's management's fault for paying him that much based on one season, guys hello, base their salary off consistency. This is why the Canucks are going nowhere.

  3. Seriously? Its been 2 games. The first game he was hard matched. And the secind game, even Quinn wasn't great on the offensive side of the puck. Can we relax please? This team is just not clicking on offense yet, but the positive is that they are playing as a team.

P.S. It wasn't Petey who got JT traded. If you think that this , mgmt didn't ask Quinn for his thoughts on who should go then I don't know what to tell you. Quinn voted for Petey.

  4. Lets wait to see after 5-8 games. I think that is a solid sample size (10% of the regular season). That said, he certainly has not stood out at all in the 2 games he has played.

  5. EP40 is going through alot in their life. They have a new husband and Palestine is still not free. They have a lot on their mind and hockey isn’t important to them.

  6. Peddy reminds me of the time Danial Sedin was out for a couple of months with a broken leg and Henrik was lost for the a couple of games then he ripped it up.

  7. Demko was great, the PK was solid, there was some truculence shown, but the skaters couldn't make a pass to save their lives. I don't know why they could make a simple clean pass, but it's hard to get a lot of shots if everyone is reaching for pucks or every pass turns into a puck battle. In a few more games we'll have a sample size of Petey to gauge where our level of disappointment should be.

  8. i don't care EP, but the team, especially i care at the end QH broke his stick to release his frustration … only in the 2nd game of the season, not a good sign

  9. He was slow before and he "bulked up " lol, so now he looks like hes wearing cement shoes out there. Just a wet noodle of a hockey player. Dude is a Cancer.

  10. Canucks 2023/24 FO% 9th.
    Canucks 2024/25 FO% 22nd.
    Canucks so far 2025/26 FO% 27th.
Fairly obvious how important Miller was to the team. Elias at this point doesn't even look like a center, let lone a top-line one, as he cannot win draws. Last night 3 faceoff wins, 15 losses. So his revenge season might be put on hold until he figures that out. If his line can't get faceoff possession, then he might as well get different wingers, probably some grinders to dig the puck for him so he doesn't have to be the guy to do it and get hurt (again), because then your best sniper isn't being wasted. (This is why Boeser played with Miller.)
It's quite flabbergasting the the Canucks locked him up to that deal and then dumped Miller while knowing all this. Oh but don't worry, if people blame Tocchet enough, perhaps fans'll buy that excuse. Petey also might just score on the power play or something tomorrow and all will be right in the world.

  11. Solid video bro. I enjoy your analysis of Canucks discussion from Vancouver media far more than videos commenting on trade rumors.

  12. he added 13 lbs over the summer as if that means something. ill take 170 lb rookie pettersson over whatever the hell this guys is. Canucks are in deep trouble and i fear were going to lose quinn

  13. We still got no one to play with EP40. Management seems determined to put EP40 with players who are 0.5-0.7 PPG.

  14. ideally , like to see Kane , score the Gordie Howe Hat Trick , while punching out , Petey
To start the long road trip

  15. 2 games i and people are already beating him up. He got a goal in game 1. He got his weight up to 190 soease up already. If I was an NHL player I would not play here in this fickle town. too many vultures

  16. OK, if he doesn't have at least 18 pts at the 20 game Mark,MOVE him. Bump Chytyl and move Cootes to C 2line. and call up Sassons

  17. A lot of Canuck fans were delusionally thinking Pettersson would be great again. He hasn't been a good player for about 19 months now and the only reason anyone would expect him to snap out of it is pure hope. They had a chance last year to get good assets for him, but decided keeping the comatose center would be their best option. Then the organization tries to do damage control on his image by setting up a fake marriage to kill the homosexuality rumours (not that there's anything wrong with that). The whole thing is a clown show and this team is now saddled with a very average, soft, player who makes almost 12 mill. Nice work.

  18. This has gone on forever with Pettersson. Everyone says he needs to "put on some muscle" as if some extra mass will somehow transform him.

He has the speed of Kucherov (none) with none of the control, confidence and stability. It's not about muscle. Look at how hard it is to knock Hughes down. His BALANCE and fine motor control is doing all of the heavy lifting. Not his biceps or neck.

First year Pettersson was clowning guys with his stickhandling until they figured he folds by ignoring the fancy puckwork and just tap him lightly. Or tie just get a bit too close. Or lean a bit on him. And he's had ZERO answer to that other than finding new ways to fall over, slow down even more, or pass off the puck to a winger in a bad spot.

I KNEW it when they said he was putting on a bunch of muscle. I thought to myself, gee I wonder if any of that is actual strength where it counts, like the type used to keep you on your skates. Unfortunately at this point I doubt it can be taught. Some guys just don't have it. If you're going to be a slug out there your brain better be light years ahead and I wonder if he's even mentally strong enough to not be distracted easily. Frustrating.

  19. It’s 2 games lots of teams have a bad start and do great after were getting used to new players it’s ok we have to work on a few things we’re gonna get our offence going and we will be fine this will be a good season

  20. Worst contract in Canucks history, just like i told yall when he signed it. The body is broken down and can't produce the 100 points he is being paid to produce. Cheeto has started out good this year and looks like he can improve on his past seasons, but the jury is still out on him as well. Like i said they need a 1C and a 2C or they ain't making the playoffs. I'm not seeing the 1 and 2 C's thus far. The only encouraging thing for me is Demko looks amazing, and i hope his new training regiment is going to pay off for him and allow him to play a whole season.

  21. Pettersson is a below average hockey player. I said this a year ago and Ill say it again. Watch him and you will see nothing that says he is anything more than that. He cant skate. With the puck his skates turn into skis. I said that exact same thing a year ago. I cant believe people think he is any good and think he is going show it soon. He didnt do anything wrong cuz they stuck a big contract in front of him so he signed it. You can tell even he knows he cant do anymore than he does. So shut up and realize that he is just a salary drain. They couldnt trade him cuz even if they would take a bag of pucks for him there is no team that dumb.

  22. Is ego getting the best of him. He hasn’t changed he hasn’t increased his consciousness. He doesn’t inspire anyone and all he thinks about is himself and his paycheck he’s not performed. He hasn’t done anything of any good service. Send them to Edmonton. Get him the hell out of Vancouver.

  23. Would the Italian owners of the Canucks have to buy out EP40's big contract if he died under suspicious circumstances?
