I gotta say one thing pissed me off more then anything this season or last ! The Kings disallowed goal shoulda been a goal plus a penalty fo4 embellishment on the Carolina GT ! Hiller not challenging was a direct result of game 3 against Edmonton. Any other coach who didn’t have a notoriously bad challenge would have challenged that ! And showed some strength! And would have wanted everyone to see that embellishment over and over again! I would fire hiller the non challenge tonight ! Wussy
Oh I can tell you Eddie why we are a horrible defensive team since you mentioned it ! Because we are going out there try to play defense! Like the 3rd periods of game 3&4 , THE BEST DEFENSE IS WHEN YOUR ON OFFENSE! Everytime we turn around and make the safe play and stop pushing forward is a time when we can now be scored on and not score ! Kings have zero forecheck ! When was the last time yo7 saw a grinding in the offensive zone goal , it’s always o; the rush after a mistake by the opponent. It’s no5 th3 roster ! It’s the system .

The one thing was is the ref fell for the embellishment and ya that makes it harder to overturn, however Foegle was outside the crease , the goalie embellishment, YOU CHALLENGE! It is consistently concerning that Clarke, dating back to last season, has been 4th-6th in ice time among D men in so many games. Doughty isn’t the same player as 5-7 years ago. Having Dumo playing 25 minutes a night isn’t it. If you’re Clarke and this whole season is like that, would you be very amenable to a team friendly contract?
Hiller needs to go. Doesn't challenge that but does for the one that cost our playoff run. Bloke has no idea what he's doing. Time for a change. Bring in DeBoer.
How can you say the team still believes in him? They're professional players and as such they will play well from time to time. But, They're playing for half the game max. If they believed in him, they'd play more than 1 good period. I think they're playing good in spite of him. He has no idea what he's doing.
Forsberg is also not it. He's the worst goalie we've had in the last 5 years. I'd take Copley over him. Rittich was better. I'd give Portillo time over him, even though it's better for him to be the AHL starter. Forsberg is just atrocious. He's let in some of the softest goals I've ever seen.
I want them to fire everyone, Luc, Holland and Hiller and trade BUSTfield for whatever futures they can get! for him!
I enjoy the hustle. I told my wife that even if they lost at least it was an exciting game. I also wanted to remind everyone that last year the Oilers didn't look like they were going to make the playoffs at the beginning of last season. There's a lot of hockey to go and a lot can happen. Not saying this hasn't been painful and there hasn't been a lot of bad hockey, but there's still a lot to go.
Haven’t watched any games this season. I don’t believe in this team. It’s the same season over and over again with no growth. Luc needs to go yesterday. I miss Lombardi.
It’s not only Gavrikov it’s Spence. Even if you don’t think not having Spence is a big deal, it’s familiarity with the D men pairings. Our defense pairings last couple years were really good. We are just a few games into the season and already are ripping away pairings that have been together a long time. I sure hope we get a spark when Perry gets into games. But if we are holding our breath for a 40 + year old player to check in we got major problems .
