    Do you think Schaeffer’s production is sustainable considering he’s playing 25mins a night? I think he’ll hit a wall eventually. I believe once Demidov is on pp1; race’s over.

    Ryan Leonard looks great, but he's only getting 12:21 of ice time per game, and his linemates aren't that good. He's not getting top 6 minutes or top 6 linemates, and that's going to hurt his stats quite a bit. But he looks great. He is getting 1:12 per game of power play time per game, and that will definitely help (1 of his 3 goals is on the power play).

    If they move him up to Dubois' line, that will really help his stats. He is good friends with Dubois off the ice, and I think they'd play well together, so maybe that will happen.

    As a Habs fan I am happy with Hutson last year and now Dobes, Demidov and even Kapanen all playing well. It's good to see such progress and makes the players not panning out due to issues or injuries not sting as much.

    It's Schaffer's to lose though, he is a level above right now.

    Senneke and Finnie have been surprises. I don’t think anyone even saw them making their roster spots, let alone starting this strong.

    Based on pure talent alone, I feel like Schaefer's a given so far. However, after last year when almost no one had the guy who ended up winning in their top 3 possible winners at the beginning of the season, I'm not trying to guess until March at the earliest lol. Still, I'm so excited for this Calder run this year because it's SO so so so fun to see so many rookies do so well. I genuinely hope the rookies all thrive (as long as they don't thrive too much in the games against MY team).

    The youngest of them all and breaking records. Pretty mindnumbing, but Isles has been the perfect fit for both him and them.

    If it comes down to a close scoring race between Demidov and Schaffer at the end of the season, it will depend on who's team makes the playoffs because of their contribution.

    I believe Kindel is 2nd in xGF% under all of them. If he starts scoring, he might get some votes, too. What a steal by Dubas even though viewed as a reach at #11.
