They felt they competed hard? Game looked like a beer league game or pond hockey game. Yes there were some spurts of high intensity but for the most part of game it was not.Even on bothsides. Nylander had some extra jump to his game. To be fair I was watching mostly Jays but I would turn it back on the leafs when the dodgers were at bat. I saw enough hockey though to say it did not look like an NHL game. The intensity was not high enough on both teams. Just bc you put together 2-3 good shirts doesn't mean your team competed hard .

Ask Brett Hull how he felt when they traded Adam Oates. Face it, this is what you get when you chase a star out of town. For a year and a half every time I tried to watch a Leaf conversation on-line or chat forums it was frustrating because it was all about attacking Marner. Now everyone's saying we didn't do it he wanted to leave. My comments of Leafs finishing Oct 4-7 got lots of laughs back when the season started.
